"Leon." Mikey said, sounding mostly annoyed at this juncture, as he headed on over to take a seat beside his son, across from the principal. He folded one leg over the other and placed his hands on the chair's arms. "So, what did my son do this time, Miss Satine?" He asked.

"How do I put it?" Ms Satine started with a sigh, looking up to find the words she needed to describe the deed.

"Dad, I mooned the cafeteria on a dare." Leon interjected quickly. He was already scared and in trouble, but he wasn't going to let Ms. Satine present the feat. He was man enough to do it himself.

Mikey's eyes widened and his head swung around to look at his son, his face clearly aghast by the situation.

"You WHAT?" He bellowed.

"Sorry, Dad." Leon quickly followed with a wince, knowing damn well that his Father heard him.

"That is...correct, Mr. Maxwell. I decided not to suspend him. He's got detention for the next two weeks, I just need you to take him home and sign this slip saying you understand the crime and punishment." Ms. Satine said, sliding a slip of paper across the desk to Mikey.

Mikey wanted to verbally cut loose right then and there, but managed to maintain a BITTER cool as he went ahead and reached over to grab the paper, giving it his signature before pushing it back to Miss Satine.

"Thank you, Miss Satine, for not suspending him." He said. "He'll be sure to go to ever detention session for the next two weeks and my wife and I will be sure to sit down and have a talk with him." He said, nodding, standing up. He reached over and grabbed Leon's shoulder, giving it a slight nudge as if to tell him to follow suit.

"Thanks, Satan." Leon said with a curt nod as he stood.

"Satine." She replied with narrowed eyes.

"Right, pleasant day to you." He replied before following his father out.

Mikey shot a glare Leon's way upon his snide farewell and then shook his head.

"Leon Gilligan Maxwell, don't make a bed you can't lie in." He said in a harsh whisper as the exited the office with him.

Mikey guided Leon through the hallways and eventually lead him out of the building and straight into the parking lot where his car sat curbside. He climbed into the car and waited in a tense silence for Leon to load himself in as well.

Leon held his breath and crossed his fingers behind his back as he climbed in, in hopes that he would in fact still be alive by the time they got home.

Mikey waited until Leon was in the car, door closed behind him and all, before he whipped his head around to look at him head-on.

"WHY, Leon? WHY?" He demanded, clearly outraged by Leon's latest antics. "I thought we agreed you were DONE getting into shenanigans like this! I thought you said you were going to stop!"

"We did! We did agree, and-and I did! For awhile, I mean, clearly it's been long enough for you to be surprised, right? It's been a month and a half or something like that. I could tell you why but it's not like it was a good reason, I mean, it came out to a semi good reason in my opinion-though not what I originally planned..." Leon blurt but trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck. "If it means anything, I've learned my lesson."

"That doesn't mean anything though, because you said the same exact thing to me last time!" Mikey hollered. He reached up and ran his hand over his face, letting out a heavy exhale as he tried to tone his yelling down. "Leon... you can't keep doing this. You can't keep getting into trouble. I've got three babies that I've got to worry and fuss over, all at once, and I can't keep fussing over things like this. I can't keep worrying that you're going to get into trouble." He said, his voice much quieter than before. WHile before he was clearly enraged, now, he just sounded sad and exhausted.

Leon furrowed his brows, he was still in trouble. And that scared him, but more than that, he knew he WAS nothing but trouble. While Mikey not believe it, Leon was remorseful.

"I really am sorry, Dad." Leon started, peeking out at his Father from under his tussled blond hair. "I don't know why I'm not like Emeline or Gregory...What were you like in school?" He asked quietly.

Mikey sat quietly before replying.

"I'd be lying if I said I was the perfect student, but I also didn't get in this much trouble." He said.
