Emeline was a bit of a loner by nature outside of her family, but she still felt weird being on her own at the zoo; the most communal family oriented place to be. While it was out of her element in ways, she needed to be there. Photography had always been an interest of hers and where could you possibly get better shots of animals than the zoo? With her Cannon 75 draped around her neck, she wondered about the zoo idly snapping photos. Some of animals, some of candid moments shared by couples or a small family; some of fat people she thought were funny.

It was just another day on the job for Iggy Horowitz as he strode casually about the zoo grounds, wandering about the aquatic exhibit where he was mostly tending to the otter habitat. He had been working for two years now as a part-time zookeeper (nothing real professional yet) and spent every day after school on the job and even worked from time to time on the weekends. Most of the time he was found frequenting his favorite habitats in the aquatic section of the zoo, sometimes he was even found IN the habitats, mostly the sea otter area, chattering away with the otters.
He currently carried with him a full bucket of crayfish and was quite eager to feed his "friends" in the said otter tank. He stopped just short of the barrier between the public and the actual tank and set down the bucket before emitting a loud whistle.
"Oi, fuzzy pups, it's time to come dine!" He hollered with a grin as he reached into the bucket with a gloved hand. |

Rena had mostly the animals from the Asian exhibit and decided to get some water creatures; majestic shots of them in the water and all that. She hadn't cared much for the fish tank or the sea cows, the first exhibit after that was the otters.
Otter were cute. Emeline liked otters.

| Iggy was leaned over the top of the barrier, dangling a spot of crayfish out over the water with a wild grin on his face as he watched several of the otters poke their heads out of their den across the way on the dry platform. They all stared at him with curious eyes, earning head tilts from the lot of them, before they noted the offering of food from their favorite keeper, Iggy. They all skittered from their den and dove headlong into the water and swam over to the edge of the tank's barrier where Iggy stood. |

Approaching the otter habitat she saw that it was feeding time. She brushed a lock of her blond her behind her ear before raising her hand slightly to the feeder.
"Excuse me, will you be feeding them long?" She asked.

Iggy had noted someone approaching the habitat from the corner of his eyes as he dropped a handful of fish downward and managed to acknowledge their question with a brisk head nod, a grin still on his face.
"Yeah, just for a lil' while." He said before tilting his head to look over, finding that the person, no, the WOMAN he was looking to was totally worth the double take he did. |

Iggy watched the girl preparing to leave before frantically pulling away from his task at hand, spinning sharp on his heel to face her whilst waving a frantic hand.
"Uh, hold on a second, you don't have to do that. If you want, you could get your shots and what not." Iggy insisted with a firm head nod as he reveled at the girl. |

"Oh thanks, but it's for my portfolio so feeding time photos won't get me a lot of creditability." Emeline explained, looking up at the male. "Thanks anyways though." She nodded before backing up again.
Since generally when being fed, animals tend to cluster up around said food, it didn't make for a very good picture.

| "Oh, well, uh, if you wanted to wait around instead of having to try and kill time. It won't take long, besides, uh, you could, er, you could help if you'd like." Iggy said, a smile of brilliance finding it's way on his lips as he nodded eagerly at the suggestion. Much like his father, Iggy lacked all finesse when itn came to women and finer things. |

Emeline was mostly indifferent to most things when she wasn't spiteful. But this was something she could truly appreciate as a smile spread across her lips.
"Really? I'm allowed to do that?" She asked, stepping closer now. She could get pretty good shots of other animals elsewhere, but not as good as being in the habitat and feeding them herself.

| "Not a problem. Not a problem at all." Iggy said, giving Emeline's hand a firm and eager shake, excitable as always, before gesturing over his shoulder with a head nod. "I've got a whole bucket of crayfish over there I gotta blow through, and with two people we can get through it fast, I'm sure. And the faster we get through it, the sooner I can introduce you personally to the fuzzballs." Iggy released Emeline's hand and gave another quirky grin. |
