It was beginning to become a normal thing, hanging out at either household. But as it was, Biddy and Murphey made Leon extremely uncomfortable; so they were stuck in a household full of sound.

The Maxwell house.

Back before the triplets were born, with most of the kids grown there weren't too many sounds generally speaking. But now there were babies crying and giggling, Emeline and Gregory yelling about not being able to concentrate, Rena singing in the kitchen along with the radio as she made dinner and Mikey idly strumming on his guitar to calm his nerves. It was the sound of home though, it was nice in a way. Leon wondered if his and Alby's house might sound like that one day. Presently, he was cuddled up to Alby's side in his bed, her reading a Thrasher magazine of his while he played his his tape deck on her protruding belly. His room wasn't the room of anybody's Father, but it would be to their baby. The walls were covered with cut outs from different magazines, posters from the X games and even photos on cork boards of Leon and everyone down at the skate park. There were some lava lamps of course, like any teenage dirt bag might own. His bed was a modest twin size, with, wait for it, transformer sheets. His floor wasn't awful for a teenage boy, there were some jackets, some socks, beanies even. But most of his laundry made it in the hamper and his skate boards made it in most closets.

Since he was a boy and took an interest in skating, he had a petrifying fear of someone slipping on his board and breaking their neck. So, a little cluttered, but not too bad. All comics were filed on the shelf, nothing out of place. Maybe a baby could be okay in a room like this, Leon would think during or after cleaning. He thought about life after the baby a lot, he wanted it to work, to be perfect.

"Do you think little Leon or little Alby will skate, or write?" He asked, looking up at Alby.

Alby peaked up from her reading and gave a small smile as she went ahead and closed the magazine, setting it down beside her. She let out a contemplative sigh as she reached down to pet at Leon's hair with one hand while resting the other at the side of her belly.

"Well, I'd like it if they were well-read, at least, if not a writer. In fact, when they finally get here, I want to read them bed time stories every night, starting right at day one." She began. "But I also would like it if they were active like you. We can spend lots of time at the park, the skate park even. When they're old enough, maybe you can show them a thing or too...but not too soon. Definitely not soon. I don't want to have to kiss too many 'booboos' too soon." She said.

Leon smiled widely as Alby pet his hair. He liked that, the idea of Alby kissing booboo's, or reading stories to their baby. Alby was very well spoken, Leon could listen to her talk for days; he hoped their baby would too.

"Say, have you thought of any names you might like?" He asked her then, moving to see her better.

"Well, I've thought about a few names." Alby said, adjusting her own position to lay on her side while resting her head in her hand as she looked to Leon with a pleasant smile. "I really like Riley or Freddie for a boy, but I like Paisley or Julia for a girl."

"I like Freddie, but I think I like Wiley for a boy." Leon nodded. "Like the coyote." He added as he reached forward with his hand to play with her hand.

"Paisley though...I like that, for a little girl. I could imagine calling out a Paisley to wash her hands before dinner. Brush her hair before bed, help her braid her hair for school photos." Leon smiled wider and wider with the image of the little girl, procuring before his eyes like she were already here. "She'll look just like you, with my eyes but crazy freckles...My little Paisley." He finished with a grin.

Alby's face lit up when Leon spoke, painting a picture of their would-be daughter. She twined her fingers with his and gave his hand a squeeze as she went ahead and folded her free arm under her head like a pillow.

"She sounds wonderful...little Paisley, our little Paisley." She smiled. "What about a middle name though? She's got to have a middle name." As she spoke, she took her hand from Leon's and reached up to brush a stray hair from his face before tucking it back within his grasp.

"Well, naturally, it's gotta sound good when we yell it." Leon nodded, looking up and thinking. He wanted it to be something clever, better than just something cute. Leon tried to think of something relevant to Paisley, or even something relevant to them that they had done as a couple; as Paisley's parents. Bobby, like bobby pins, the ones used to unlock the computer room for Alby. Or maybe Ambrosia, food of the Gods, Leon thought immediately of fresh fruit, fruit thrown at his buttocks maybe. Then he thought of it, Jubilee. Since her cravings started, Leon had fetched her many a cherry jubilee. Plus, he knew naming your baby after a pregnancy craving was popular, hence, Aunt Kiwi.

"Jubilee." Leon said with a proud smile.

"Jubilee? Like cherry jubilee?" Alby asked, an amused smile at her lips as she looked at Leon quizzically. "Are you making fun of my cravings?" She inquired playfully.

Leon threw his head back and laughed.

"Not at all, I think it's cute. Paisley Jubilee." Leon said it out loud with a grin.

"Paisley Jubilee." Alby repeated, a small smile lingering at her lips as she gave her belly a gentle stroke. "It is pretty cute...lil' Paisley Jubilee, P.J. But...you know there's only one way to decide whether or not it's the right name."

Leon sucked in a breath and furrowed his brows like he was angry about something.

"Paisley Jubilee Maxwell! You are not going out without a sweater, and that's final!" Leon blurt.

Alby threw her head back in violent laughter, her face flush by the time she managed to catch her breath and partake in the psuedo-yelling.

"Paisley Jubilee Maxwell, you aren't going to leave the table until all of your vegetables are eaten!" She hollered before continuing with her laughter.
