Johnathan had never been to a gymnastics meet, not once in his life, mostly because he had never really had a reason to attend one before. But now, with Millie in his life, and his vigorous pursuit of her, surely his attendance of such events would be quite frequent. Part of him was going to simply appease Millie, but for the most part, he was going to take an interest in something Millie was passionate about. He wanted to know and understand what she loved, moreover, he wanted to love what she loved too.

He had perched himself in the uppermost seats of the bleachers, not too far away from where Iggy himself had taken a seat, but a good enough distance that Iggy wouldn't see him (Iggy know's what's up, broski).

Millie was standing with her team, stretching and loosening up for the meet. Standing by their benches she had already chalked up her hand and mostly awaiting anxiously for her turn to perform. Mina was much better, but she invested more time into it. Millie was pretty good too considering her squeezing it in with her perfect schooling and other activities. Her red hair was cut short already, but some of her bangs needed to be clipped back from her face, other than that the long lashes that framed watery blue eyes were the only things that separated her from the other gymnasts in a sea of different colored spandex.

"Millie Horowitz." One of the judges called, her coach coaxing her from the sidelines.

With much eagerness she skipped on over to the padded runway. Looking over her shoulder she smiled and waved at her brother Iggy and Jonathan before eyeing the vault carefully. Giving a powerful full on charge, she launched herself off the vault and did a perfect Yurchenko vault move and stuck the landing. With a proud grin she put hands up and bowed as you do, and accepted the gracious grading before prancing back to the sidelines. This was a great start, but the thing was that Millie was one for throwing hard tricks. Her and Mina both were that way; both used to performing the hardest tricks or injure themselves trying. Which, Millie was bound to do in any event at this meet.

Johnathan raised his eyebrows in surprise when he saw Millie launch herself and pull off something he was sure he would be unable to do even if he went through years of training and what-not. An impressed grin was drawn from his lips and he proceeded to clap some, only to be drowned out by the vehement cheering and clapping coming from just down the way where Iggy was causing a ruckus, earning stern looks from the various coaches and other gymnasts.

Throughout the meet, Millie threw harder tricks, some she could stick and some she wouldn't. But finally came time for her favorite event: uneven bars. With a determined grin, she stared up at them before throwing herself onto the lower set and flinging and turning herself around all which and every way. One of the routines that must be included when on bars is a nonflight turn. But, in the midst of doing so, Millie turned too sharply on her turning handstand; pretty much flinging herself off the bar entirely. With the slightest and most casual of yelps, Millie landed flat on the mat with a loud thud; another loud sound being heard during the impact. A snap.

Everyone in the crowd let out simultaneous gasps and began uttering quiet whispers of concern as the medic on sight and Millie's coach made their way over to the mat. Meanwhile, both Iggy and Johnathan bolted up from their seats, however, Iggy appeared to be the only one diving over people in the crowd, carelessly fumbling downward to get to his little sister's side. Johnathan tried to muscle his way downward as well.

Millie groaned and uncurled her body and sat up on the mat, cradling her arm to her chest. She sniffed and her eyes watered a bit. While this was not her first injury and not her last, but it still hurt.

Upon reaching the bottom of the bleachers, Iggy hurriedly made his way over to the mat where his sister sat, only to trip and tumble upon reaching it, forcing him to crawl the rest of the way.

"Millie! What hurts? Tell your bubba!" Iggy demanded before looking to the medic, pointing to him. "You there! Diagnose this! Is it fatal? Can we rebuild her? Tell me, is it serious?"

Johnathan had managed to make his way down the bleachers and, rather gracefully compared to Iggy, made his way over to the mat, joining the siblings, the medic, and the coach.

"What's the damage?" The coach reiterated for Iggy; not bothered at all by the boys outburst, it was normal.

"Just a broken wrist again. If she keeps up with those sharp turning handstands she's going to give herself a dorsal wrist impingement." The Medic said with a nod, helping Millie to her feet.

The Coach grimaced before sighing and pinching the bridge of his nose. "Alright, get her wrapped up and sent home." He said.

"Again?" Johnathan spoke up finally, given that he finally had a chance to get anything in edgewise with Iggy's shenanigans and what not. He blinked and looked to Millie, then the Coach with questioning eyes. This was NORMAL?

"Uh huh." Millie nodded at Jonathan. "It happens all the time." She said, wiping at her eyes with her free hand.

"Really?" Johnathan asked, stunned.

"Yeah, REALLY. Why else would she tell you that it did if it didn't?" Iggy shot Johnathan a look that could kill, well, maybe not kill, but maim...maybe not even maim, but rather had the potential to be as painful as a slap from a seal's deft flipper. He placed his hands at his sister's shoulders and began guiding her away along with the medic.

Millie was ushered away with the Medic and was changed back into street clothes and had her arm wrapped and addressed before being released. It was a clean break, nothing that wouldn't heal right as long as she kept it taken care of and in it's brace. But her less than pleased expression said she wasn't impressed with how the meet went.
