Relationship with Mother: Jackaby is very close to his mother, as plenty of little boys are. He thinks that she is the world's greatest woman with strong air of sensibility and plenty of love to give, she proves that day in and day out with the way she puts up with some of his father's shenanigans and moods. He goes to her often when he has a question, problem, or just because. He thinks she's amazingly wonderful.
Relationship with Father: While Jackaby is indeed a momma's boy, he has a deep amount of love and respect for his father, even if they butt heads with frequency due to very similar personalities. However, he admires his father's devotion to the idea of family, as proved by his strong bond to his aunt Sylvie, and his love and dedication to both he and Tetra. He wants to be like his father in the retrospect he wants to be a good family man, and man in general.

Notes: Jackaby is much like his father when it comes to his rough edges and emotional handicaps (albeit he is much better off than Luther when it comes to that). The only people he has ever really felt comfortable being open with are his parents, namely his mother as after dealing with Luther for so many years she knows how to deal with her son. Jackaby is a bit of an introvert due to his disposition, but he has no problem confronting trouble head-on, opposing the introvert nature about him.
