"Isn't she though? I think she looks just like Leon." Alby said, admiring Paisley in her arms as well, watching as her eyes grew wide and tiny brows rise as she looked curiously at her foreigner observers. Alby laughed at her daughter's reaction before looking over her shoulder at Leon, quite pleased that everyone was fond of their baby.

"She's tiny, like that one." Billy commented, nodding over at Leon.

He was having a hard time entering the circle of kin. He fidgeted with his hands, nodding somewhat.

"Well, she is a baby. Babies are sometimes small. I don't know how much I contributed to that." Leon said quietly.

"Uncle Billy! Come off it!" Alby scoffed as she "scolded" her uncle. "Trust me, this one is plenty big," she held up Paisley as if to make it clear it was the baby she was talking about, "moreover, Leon's not little, he's just the right size."

Leon smiled softly. "Thanks, Alby." He nodded, knowing that Alby had his back.

"Paisley is beautiful, all over. It's just...Odd for us to see you with such a small boy. Chickweeds aren't small, nor do they marry small. You see your Da, don't ya? Brick house. It's only right." Rowan tried to explain.

"It's like, Darwinism or what not, survival of the fittest? Big men are better at protecting the home and stuff." Billy commented.

"Well, I'm sure Leon could do enough protecting if the time and occasion arose, but as we're not fighting off any Englishmen, I think he's just right for me and little Paisley." Alby nodded

"Oi, ya not funny." Billy chuckled, booping Alby on the nose when he got the joke about the Englishmen.

"Good thing though, ol' skater boy wouldn't know what to do with 'em." Rowan laughed.

"Well...I suppose I'd just skate away or something do a kick flip; since I'm such a skater boy." Leon uttered, puffing out his cheeks.

"Alright, alright, we're done picking on Leon now. You lot came to visit the baby, didn't you? Or, if that's not the case, me, Leon, and Paisley can go visit her other side of the family." Alby said, looking between her uncle and grandfather.

"Alright, alright." Rowan waved off Alby. "We'll leave the wee lamb alone."

"Have your other grandparents seen Paisley yet?" Gwen asked.

"Grandad and Grandmum O'Rourke stopped by the hospital the day she was born. Grandmum Claire has also stopped by a few times since then, helping out with her and around the house so Mom could help too." Alby nodded, offering a smile at her grandmother. She proceeded over to the loveseat sitting adjacent from the couch, giving the over stuffed arm a pat as she looked to Leon, beckoning him over.

"That's good. We're not exactly around the corner, so I've brought some things." Gwen started, nodding at Oona who began shuffling through a bag.

Hestitantly, Leon went ahead and stepped over to sit by Alby.

Alby's face lit up as she tried to peer into the bag. One of her favorite things about going to visit Ireland was getting to come home with some of her grandparents handiwork. She still had several of the many blankets her mother was sent home with for her as a baby. In fact, she'd been bundling up Paisley at night with one of the blankets her grandmother Claire had knitted.

"First, we made you an apron." Oona said proudly, handing off a ruffled apron that had, 'Mom' embroidered on the top.

It was nice warm colors, orange and red, yellow and maroon. To follow the color scheme there were little autumn leaves stitched in the fabric; Alby reminded the family of fall what with her hazel eyes and red hair.

"Oh, it's lovely, thank you." Alby took the apron and held the top against her chest, looking down at Paisley. "Does it suit your momma or what?" She cooed, watching as her daughter bobbed her head around to look up at her mother before kicking her tiny legs and giving a squeak.

"I'd say so, bit young for it, but you're surely growing into it." Biddy nodded.

"And we made some soaps, they're made out of goats milk; it's really good for your skin." Gwen nodded, handing a basket over that was full of handmade soaps.

"Wow...That's cool, goats milk." Leon nodded, accepting the basket.

"Grandmum and Aunt Oona make the best soaps." Alby commented as she went ahead and folded up her apron with one hand, placing it atop the soaps in the basket Leon held.
