Mina just stared at Iggy. Where did teaching this one to drive happen? Millie drove.

"Okay, do you know the key goes in the ignition?" Mina asked. That's all they needed to know that this wasn't hopeless.

"Okay, Mama." Iggy said with an anxious breath as he led his mother out of the house and escorted her out to the car. He took her to the family car and helped her into the passenger side of the car before running around to get into the driver's seat...for the first time. He buckled himself in and, with shaky hands, put the keys into the ignition and revved the car to life.

"Okay honey, you need to know the long pedal is the break. Don't be afraid to use it, help keep you steady." Mina began, wincing with a contraction. Luckily, the car was parked on the street so they didn't have to worry about backing up. "Now, just barely touch the gas to get a feel for it. Don't slam on it or anything, okay?"

"Okay, okay." Iggy let out a slow, shaky exhale, and did as his mother explained, easing on the gas and graciously using the brake as they made their way onto the street. Iggy let out a squeaky whine as they merged into traffic and headed down the street. Despite his fears, however, Iggy seemed to be doing rather well, as if natural, as they progressed down Main Street and towards the hospital.

"I'm tryin', Mama." Iggy said, exhaling anxiously again as they continued downtown. It was a relatively long drive, considering how slow Iggy was driving and all the braking he was doing, but EVENTUALLY the mother-son duo made it. Iggy parked in the car in the lot, as close as he could to the hospital entrance, and promptly dove out of the car, relieved the drive was over, before going over to help his mother.

"Of course, Mama." Iggy said, nodding as he continued helping his mother until they made their way into the hospital. It took him less than ten seconds to find his mother a wheelchair to sit in, which he helped her into before wheeling her up to the front counter, all the while taking his phone out to call his father. Unlike the first time, the phone rang twice before Butch answered.

"Hey, Igster." Butch answered, knowing that it was his son due to the caller ID on his phone.

"Daddy, me and Mama are at the hospital. You need to get here now, I think the baby is coming." Iggy sputtered, panicked and relieved all at once.

Mina had wheeled herself over to the front desk, checking in while Iggy talked to his Father.

"Tell him we're checking in now." Mina said over her shoulder. "Same ward as the first two times."
