Johnathan and Jamie both pulled the same face, an expression caught somewhere between terrified and a hard place.

"You don't mean you're gonna call...Emeline. DO you?" Johnathan asked while his brother gave a physical chill at the recollection of the terrible times as children when Emeline tormented the Martin siblings.

"Please Mom, no. Anybody but Emeline." Bliss said with furrowed brows as she burrowed between her brothers.

Kiona threw her head back and laughed. "You're all not babies anymore. I'm sure Emeline is a little too old for bullying and picking on the younger kids." Kiona said.

"Mum, she almost poked my eye out the last time we were here! MY EYE." Jamie said as he gestured to his eye, feeling it water up at the thought of the day Emeline the Destroyer tried to blind him.

"And do you remember her shoving me out of the tree? She gave me a concussion!" Johnathan exclaimed.

"Yeah well I remember when you all used to crap in your pants, that was pretty awful. Also, I remember when Jamie damn near broke my leg but I still see you everyday." Kiona countered. "You'll see her at some point, school if not a family dinner. But I'll make your first day painless, I'll call Mina." Kiona said.

"Thanks, Mum." Jamie said, feeling relieved now that "cousin Emeline" wasn't being called.

"Yeah, you're a lifesaver, Mummy." Johnathan said, grinning.

Kiona did as she said she would and called up Mina, chatting it up with a best friend a moment before asking what her kids were up to and if they would come show hers around town. Which given how friendly and lively the two were, they were perfect for the job. Emeline was a bit quiet as Leon was withdrawn also, so the Maxwell kids probably wouldn't have been best anyways. After hanging up the phone, Kiona returned to her kids.

"They'll be on there way, you can pick out your rooms and explore the property until they get here." Kiona said.

"Thanks Mum, " Bliss said before prancing over towards the stairs. "But the boys want to sleep outside since I stick, so they'll probably want to scope out the barn." She added with a playful grin.

"Nah, we were actually thinking we could make you dog house and YOU could sleep out there." Johnathan teased as he quickly ran passed Bliss, rushing up the stairs. "I'm gonna get first picks."

"Not if I can help it!" Jamie hollered as he followed his brother's lead, shoving passed Bliss. "Gangway!"

"I don't think so!" Bliss laughed, grabbing Jamie's pant leg and pulling him back before brushing past him.

"Oi! Be careful!" Kiona yelled up the stairs.

Bliss ran up the stairs before pausing a bit in the hall. The paint had chipped some over the years, but it gave it a lovely aged kind of charm. Six bedrooms, a room for all of Grandpa Evan's kids and one for he and his wife. Bliss wondered into a room towards the end of the hall and stood in the center of it. She had seen pictures before the this house and the rooms, vintage polaroids from when her Grandpa was a boy and lived there. But, none of the knick knacks remained, nor any nostalgic pieces of clothing or furniture. However, after admiring the room, Bliss spotted something on the far wall. She padded over before kneeling down to observe where the paint had been chipped on purpose, it read 'Timothy+Carla.'

She smiled, brushing her fingers along the lettering. This was Grandpa Tim's room, before or when he met Grandma Carla. Bliss wasn't looking for anything special in a room, no particular size or view. But this room was special she though.

"This room is mine." Bliss announced. She wondered what other small treasures this house held.

Jamie had wandered into a room of his own, a room that lured him in due to an exceptional amount of light creeping out of the room and into the hallway. He poked his head inside and found a corner room with several sets of broad windows skirting two walls. One set of windows overlooked a large oak tree just outside the bedroom window while the other set remained clear with a perfect view of where the sun would surely fall in the evening. It was a larger room, or at least it appeared to be. It was large and vast.

"And I want this one." Jamie declared.

Johnathan took his time padding up and down the hallway, poking his head into room after room. It wasn't until he reached the final room that he found one that he was pleased with. It was a small room, tucked away just beside his brother's room. It was a quaint space with bookshelves built into the walls. Two small windows sat across the room, overlooking the barn on the property. It had an almost cabin feel, outdoorsy, which was something Johnathan could appreciate.

"Mine!" He bellowed gleefully.

Bliss poked her head into Jonathan's room, "what? You're not sharing a room with your missing piece?" She teased. "This is only the beginning Jamie, now he'll replace you with some gal."

"Boys! Iggy and Millie are here!" Kiona yelled up the stairs. Kiona didn't often refer to Bliss as a girl, so 'boys' applied to all three children.

"We've shared a room for almost eighteen years and nine months, I think it's time we get our own space." Johnathan countered his sister's teasing as he began exiting his room. Almost as if he'd been cued, Jamie came up behind his two siblings.

"Yeah, I'm actually excited to get my own space. And as far as gals go...well I think it's about time coming." Jamie grinned, earning a laugh and a shove from his brother.

"As if you could talk Mister Forever Alone." He teased before heading for the stairs, taking lead of the pack as Jamie and Bliss followed.

"Well you'll always have each other," Bliss said over her shoulder at them as she bounced down the stairs.

Down stairs waiting with Kiona was Millie and Iggy Horowitz; idly conversing with the Martin's mother. Millie was a petite little thing, with a little pixie cut of fiery red hair. Her eyes were a soft, almost watery blue like her mothers.

While Millie was the spitting image of their mother, Butch Horowitz definitely was their father's doppelganger. He was tall and skinny with long and gangly limbs. His eyes harbored a gentle look to them, however, beheld a certain vibrancy and enthusiasm in them. He had a mop of blond hair to match his father's as well.

"Yeah, until I divorce him." Jamie teased as he followed his siblings.
