Jackaby blinked as he listenedto the twinly duo before proceeding to look down at his own dress. WAS he just boring?

Bliss said to her brothers before noting Jackaby looking down at his own garbs. "Well, when in Rome do as the Romans. Perhaps tomorrow we ought to tone it down, yeah?" Bliss suggested.

Millie sat in the cafeteria, picking at her food a bit while she read. Of all the friends Millie had, she didn't have a single one in her lunch period. This made her a bit uncomfortable, but she found texting her brother helped when neither of them got caught. She sat at a big round lunch table by the window, with her ankles crossed and her chin resting in her palm, she managed to stay comfortable and seemingly content. Millie had been pushing a baby carrot around on her tray through goops of ranch idly while flipping through her favorite graphic novel; Scott Pilgrim vs The World.

The Martin trio had parted ways, going on three separate adventures for the afternoon. Jamie had gone off into town for lunch, telling his siblings he might even go to the hospital to visit their Grandpa Tim, Bliss had gone off to tour the town, and probably skirting woodlands, with none other than Jackaby Edison. Johnathan, however, was not particularly interested in either of his siblings endeavors (he wasn't all that fond of this Jackaby fellow and to be honest, Grandpa Tim was a bit too nerdy for his own tastes, especially after the Dumbledore beard incident the night before) and settled with exploring the campus, the first stop on his journey being the canteen.

He was hauling with him a Tupperware filled with some of his favorite Welsh rarebit and another container with a few slabs of toast. He stepped into the lunch room and found himself staring into a sea of unrecognizable faces, none of which were staring back or paying him much mind at all. He had forgotten what it was like to be the "new kid". Teamed with the fact he knew no one, the fact that his brother wasn't at his side as per usual also gave him a lacking confidence, but still, he cut his way through the canteen nonetheless.

After walking around looking for an empty seat and a welcoming crowd, Johnathan found himself filling with a sense of joy as he came upon an empty table with only one inhabitant, who just happened to be other than Millie Horowitz.

A dopey grin painted his features and he strut forward with a new found sense of confidence.

"'Ey, Millie!" He bellowed giddily.

Millie looked up and searched for the source from whence her name had been called. Upon spotting Jonathan she grinned and waved him on over.

"Jonathan, hello!" She greeted with a bright smile. "I'm a little surprised to see you," She said, nodding for him to pull up a chair.

"Really? Why?" Johnathan inquired as he joined Millie at her vacant table. He sat down, uttering a 'thanks' as he did so. He set down his Tupperware and opened up the both of them, shooting Millie a casual, dimpled grin.

"Well your house isn't necessarily in Demont city limits, I figured you would've been attending Fort Morgan. But I don't suppose your Mum would allow that." Millie said shrug. "So, how is your first day going?" Millie inquired, taking a bite out of her carrot.

"Yeah, Mum isn't a big fan of Fort Morgan, nor are my grandparents, so we make the trek." Johnathan said as he tore a piece of toast and dipped it into the sauce. "It's been going alright, I mean, as far as first days go at a new school, you know?" He nodded and proceeded to take a bite of his lunch.

"Well," Johnathan began before reaching into his parka's pocket, whisking out a folded piece of paper holding his schedule, "I had all this morning junk, advanced chem, American history, which is bloody violent if I might say. Ah, I've also got calculus and English. This afternoon it appears I've got Phys Ed, woodshop, and some art class." Johnathan concluded with a nod as he showed Millie the paper.
