It was the first day of school for the Martin trio since they arrived in America, and needless to say Johnathan and Jamie were both rather excited. It had been a long time since they attended a public school (at Jacey's persistence, in Australia the boys were forced to attend an all boys private school as to decrease the chance of them getting into shenanigans) and it was a nice change up. Due to it being the first time tacky blazers and slacks weren't required, the boys had gone all out, wearing favorite items of clothing whether they matched or not. As a result, their garb was less than fashionable. Their parents tried to sway them, but upon getting a thumbs up from their grandfather, Tim, they left the home, looking as if they'd left the home.
Jamie was currently wearing a pair of denim jeans, probably the most normal part of his ensemble, and a pair of "cowboy boots". He had a loose fitting basketball jersey on over a long striped long sleeve, all under a black hoodie. On top of his head he wore a news boy's cap and a pair of vintage mod specs.
Johnathan, on the other hand, was seen sporting a a button-up shirt under a v-neck, shirt collar popped out of the v-neck, and a pair of denims and flip flops, all the while wearing a heavy parka on top of it all. He, unlike his brother, was wearing an old worn-out "outback" hat.
Stylin'.
After they insisted they walk, the boys had acquired a map from the house to the school from their mother and were currently bickering about which way to go. Demont might have been significantly smaller than their hometown of Melbourne, but they were Martin men, and if it was one thing Martin men lacked, it was a sense of direction.
"It's this way!" Jamie insisted, pointing leftward down the next lane.
"No, I saw it this way when we pulled into town!" Johnathan countered, pointing the opposite way of his twin.

Jackaby Edison was making his own way to school in his much more normal appearance whilst noshing on a slab of toast and jam, a small bit of his mother's customary school-day breakfast Tetra prepared habitually.
Unlike the Martin's day, this day held nothing interesting in particular. It was going to be just another day at school, followed by just another walk back home through some woodlands (a detour he enjoyed), followed by sitting with his mother in her studio, perhaps if she was home, followed by a casual dinner and television session with his father once he got home, followed by homework, followed by more following a routine.
Just like her brothers, her parents thought it best that Bliss too attend a private school with nothing but girls. So, Bliss didn't look much different than her brothers on the grounds of first day dress. Like her brother, she too was sporting boots with holey and torn lace tights under a jean skirt. From the waist up is where you could tell she was with her brothers, with a fitted short sleeved leather jacket; adorned with buttons and phony war medals. Underneath was a red flannel left unbuttoned with the collar up, and a v neck underneath that with what appeared to be a Lion King iron on on it.
"Oi, lissendame. I think it's that way." Bliss began, pointing in an entirely different direction. Most women would have advised asking for directions, but Bliss was essentially a man, so that wasn't going to happen. "There are some blokes with backpacks headin' that way, check the map and see if that looks right." She suggested, tucking back a wild blond curl behind her ear.

Millie was on her way to school as well, only she was driving there. Her car was just a sloppy jaloppy, a little white rabbit, but it was her car and she loved it regardless. Unlike the Martin trio, Millie had attended public school all her life, so today wasn't a special occasion for fancy dress. Her red hair was in a pixie cut, nothing special could really be done with it outside of the occasional headband or bow, like the black one she was wearing today. From the waist up she adorned a plain white button up that she left open with a rasberry colored tank top underneath. Beyond that she sported regular skinny jeans and black hightops. She did have her nose peirced, but she typically worse her nose ring and saved her diamond studs for special occasions. It came as no surprise though to the people who knew her for her bright and bubbly personality that she would wear popsicle earrings; making her look complete.
It often bothered her that her brother typically biked to school, and her car was clean and empty with only her bag in the passenger seat. Millie liked being around people, talking, playing and laughing. So it made her anxious to even sit in the silence of the car ride to school. _________________
Both boys looked in the direction that their sister had pointed out, making note of lads she pointed out, who, as it turned out, looked about schooling age. Embarrassed, both turned to face their sister a midst their squabbling and pulled similar expressions of un-amusement. Jamie was the first to speak up betwee the two of them.
"Bliss, just because those chaps have satchels doesn't mean a thing. Your assumptions are rude and presumably untrue." He scolded while Johnathan provided a motherly tutting and finger waggle.

Jackaby had just finished off his toast and jam and was making his way up the road when he came across three peculiar squabbling blonds. There were two obnoxiously dressed males, who upon further inspection appeared to be twins, and an equally strangely dressed girl. It appeared they were lost.
While Jackaby wasn't exactly the most sociable, he didn't feel right just walking passed the trio without trying to offer some assistance.
"I said to check the map didn't I?" Bliss asked. "I didn't make any assumptions, if you don't want my help then I'll go off on my own then." She finished, crossing her arms and looking displeased. But upon hearing a voice she turned to face the direction in which it was coming from.
"Yeah?" Bliss responded as she turned to face him. _________________
Both Jamie and Johnathan stopped before their protesting began, looking up at the sound of the voice like their sister. There stood before them none other than Jackaby.
"Uh, I couldn't help but notice you seemed a bit...lost." He said, offering a sheepish smile. "I thought I'd offer some help."
Jackaby found a smile unconsciously flicker up onto his lips as he looked down at the petite blond grinning up at him. She was a rather attractive little thing with a lively air about her and vivacious golden curls, even WITH her get-up.
"Alright, where are you guys heading?" He asked, licking at his lips a bit before shifting his gaze a bit to break up his obvious staring.
"Demont high school, our Mum gave us a map but we seemed to have gotten turned 'round." Bliss explained.
The male who had appraoched them was quite handsome; in a devilish sort of way. You'd think attending an all girls private school would make Bliss a walking hormone death trap for any unexpecting pretty boy, but she was surprisingly tame in that regard. Probably do to roughing it with her brothers, being pretty much a boy herself opposed to a horny teeny bopper she wasn't much interested in men if not to rough house with. _________________
"Oh, me too." Jackaby said with a slight chuckle. "You guys were actually heading in the right direction, probably could have figured it out without me, but if you'd like, I could walk with you, show you the way."
"It would probably be for the best, I'm sure we'd get lost again." Bliss said with a grin. "My name is Bliss, by the way." She said, her accent coating her words as she stuck her hand out. _________________
Bliss bit her bottom lip to contain a slight grin. Most boys back home knew the Martin twins, which meant they probably knew better than to get too 'friendly' with Bliss. Most girls would be upset and frustrated with her brothers; Bliss thought it kind of funny.
"It's a nice to meet you," She said then with a polite nod from behind her brothers. _________________
"So what is it that American's do in public schools?" Bliss inquired as idle conversation as they walked. In her private all girls school there were certain activities expected of the girls, sports and extra credit and clubs, she imagined public school would be different. _________________
"Oh, so you're new to the states?" Jackaby inquired. Of course he picked up on the accents, but he figured that the threesome were natives elsewhere, but he didn't expect them to be so fresh off the metaphorical immigrant boat. "Well, public school isn't special. At least not to me." He gave a Luther-esque shrug.
