"Do you guys have any animals here?" Millie asked then. "I saw the barn on the hill and the corral out front, but I wasn't sure." She said, her blues appearing somewhat hopeful. Like her Dad, she had a soft spot for animals although not specifically the mongoose.

"Most of Grandpa Evan's animals were actually taken away when he passed, but we were left with one horse. She's still a rather young thing, hasn't even been broken yet, so I'm not sure what we're going to do with her quite yet." Johnathan answered as he gestured to the oncoming doorway. "My room's right here." He said, opening up the door for both Millie and Iggy.

"I don't think so. Mum said that when we used to come back for visits as tots that we'd sit in the saddles while Grandpa Evan led the horses around, but I don't think you can really count that." Johnathan laughed.

Johnathan's room was rather plain still, at least compared to the space he and Jamie used to share back in Australia. His parents had let him paint the walls of his room, even going so far as allowing him to settle on the color of his choosing (a lovely dark blue, two shades off from being TARDIS). His parents had picked up a cheap boxspring bed set, as well as a secondhand desk and set of drawers from the goodwill, as money was rahter tight due to the move. However, all of the furniture had been sanded down and re-stained (probably Jacey's doing~) to make everything look as good as new. It was a tight and quaint space, and there was sure to be more coming soon, but so far it was as Johnathan liked it.

Millie looked around the room curiously, admiring the paint job on the walls. "Do you know who's room this belonged to? My mother told me once that your Grandpa had a lot of kids."

"I think it was my mum's uncle Terry, but I'm not really sure. It could have also belonged to Kevin." Johnathan shrugged as he made his way over to his bed, plopping down. He promptly pat the space beside him, grinning up at Millie as she made her rounds, but instead of having Millie join him for a casual sit, he found Iggy diving onto the bed instead, flopping face down.

Millie browsed a bit more before giggling lightly at her brother as he flopped onto the bed before padding over herself and sitting on the other side of Jonathan. She opened her mouth to speak before pausing and leaning into Jonathan for a brief moment and pulling back.

"Are you wearing cologne?" She asked then with raised brows.

"Oh, uh, no, it's just my...natural musk." Johnathan said, a sudden flush at his cheeks at the closeness Millie sat... a closeness Iggy promptly mimicked.

"Yeah you are. You totes stink." He said, pulling a face.

"Be nice," Millie scolded while pulling a face and swatting at Iggy. "It's a bit strong, but I think it smells nice." She said.

"I'm not being MEAN, I'm just being honest." Iggy shrugged upon pulling away himself, making a face at his sister's compliment. This was not good, not good at all.

"Uh, thanks, Millie." Johnathan said, biting back a smile.

"Hey! Soups on!" Bliss yelled up the stairs before retreating back into the kitchen to set the table.

"Great! I'm starving." Millie grinned before getting up and dusting off her skirt.

"Me too!" Iggy bellowed as he hopped back up onto his feet. "I'll race ya." He said to Millie.

Johnathan, meanwhile, stood up, rubbing at the back of his neck in an anxious and disappointed manner. He'd been hoping for some more alone time with Millie, or alone time in general, but apparently that wasn't going to happen.

As Millie and Iggy raced down the stairs, Kiona and Mina were exiting her's and Jacey's bedroom; laughing about something from their childhood. Peeking into Jonathan's room, Kiona made a slight face.

"You go on down, I'll right there." Kiona said and waved Mina off before stepping into Jonathan's room. She noticed his expression from across the hall and would have noticed it a mile away, she was awfully perceptive when it came to her kids; not that most parents aren't. "Hey tiger, everything okay?" She asked softly.

Kiona made a face before leaning against the door frame with her arms crossed.

"Are you really sure? If something's wrong, and you tell me then I might be able to help." She offered softly.
