“With all do respect to the good men here and their profession here, I don’t care.” Dale said, shaking his head slowly. “I’ll come back if I have to, but I’ve got one thing on my mind and it’s my wife and my baby. Raschelle, please…” Dale began to beg.

Raschelle continued to stare for quite sometime before allowing a slow exhale from her nostrils. She shook her head in a resigned fashion before standing up.
"Fine...but if we get caught, Dale, so help me GOD." She uttered, striding over to the corner of the room where a wheelchair sat, folded up and leaning against the wall. |

“Raschelle, you’re an angel. A damn daint, also, thanks for the blood.” Dale nodded, throwing off the covers. “If you wheel that over to me, I’ll just kind of...roll off and land on it.” He said, gesturing towards the wheelchair.

| "No. I will HELP you as I do not want to further WOUND you." Raschelle protested as she wheeled over the wheelchair. She promptly situated it and stepped over to Dale's bedside to help him out. |

“All I need is some orange juice and I’ll be right as rain, OJ fixes everything.” Dale shrugged. Which he actually believed, he had seen Sydney get shot and stabbed and beat up; all the while he would staple whatever was open, closed and pound down some OJ. Even as an adult, Dale was still super impressionable and heavily influenced by Sydney.

| "I'd just like to say that I don't think that is true, moreover, I'd like to think your wife, a medical professional mind you, would attest to my statement." Raschelle said said, promptly wheeling Dale out of the room, stopping to make sure the coast was clear before proceeding. Luckily for them, security at the Fort Morgan hospital was just as shoddy as the rest of the town so slipping out was rather easy actually. |

“Either way, I’ll be okay. I feel pretty good as is.” Dale nodded before pausing. “Well, it feels like I’ve got a hole in the middle of me...But otherwise, good.” He added.

“Shush, that happens to everyone when they talk to me believe it or not.” Dale said, waving off the comment. “It’s a part of nature really.” He added, peeking around to make sure no one was eyeing them suspiciously or what not.

| Raschelle began wheeling Dale about again, proceeding down the main hallway of the ER, making a beeline for the exit. She had parked pretty close, so she was actually thinking that this was possible now. |

Dale held his breath, knowing if he said anything out loud that he would surely jinx themselves. He was a little surprised that whenever Raschelle came she didn’t just drive in; that would have been convenient.
