Johnathan's cheeks went from a light shade of pink to a vibrant red; even his ears changed color. He licked at his lips a bit and shyly looked away.

"A little bit...I guess." He admitted, biting back a sheepish smile.

Johnathan blinked at Millie's suggestion and at the notion of his "crush" liking him back. He wondered if she knew and this was her dropping a hint, or if she was being oblivious to matters of the heart as per usual.

It had been a day since Millie's spill at her gymnastics meet that apparently forced her to stay home from school, and one day since Johnathan started going mad due to Millie withdrawls (lol not really).

He'd attempted to go with Millie and Iggy to get Millie all bandaged up before getting sent home, but due to Iggy's almighty protective big brother prowess, he was forced to stay behind before he eventually went home himself. He had hoped that since the injuries were so frequent, evidently, that Millie would make it to school, however, his hope seemed in vain when Millie didn't show up. He had contemplated what to do all day long before he decided that an impromptu visit to the Horowitz home seemed suitable, which brought him here:

He stood at the door with a cheesy, and rather sad, cheap bouquet of flowers in tow, something he'd picked up at a petrol station on his way over.

Millie was sprawled out on the sofa, home alone of course since Butch and Mina were working and Iggy hadn't arrived home yet. Her arm was propped up on the arm of the couch while she watched tv; looking pretty miserable. She felt fine, but being bored and lonely on top of not bringing home a medal made her feel a bit salty. Sitting in her basketball shorts and sweatshirt, hair pushed back in a headband and andes mint chocolates in hand; she seemed pretty defeated and in need of some R&R.

Johnathan took a deep breath, composing himself before knocking at the door gently. He was just there to check in on Millie, there was nothing to be nervous about, right? Right.

Millie raised her brow curiously upon hearing a light tapping at her door. She rose to her feet before approaching the door and opening it up, you'd think her day had been made what with the way her eyes lit up upon seeing Jonathan there with flowers.

"Jonathan, what are you doing here?" She beamed widely with glee and surprise.

A giddy grin of his own turned up the corners of Johnathan's lips when Millie answered the door, smiling away as she always did. Despite being "laid up" and decked out in some not-so-impressive clothes, Millie still looked like good ol' Millie, the girl who'd stolen Johnathan's attention and affections.

"Uh, hey, I thought I'd just swing by check up on you since you didn't make it to school today and all." He said, reaching up to tousle his hair a bit as he hesitantly held out the flowers. "Oh, and I got these for you. I thought you could use a get well soon sort of gift." He nodded.
